Is your hot water heater working against you? While other people may be putting their money in the bank, you may be unintentionally stashing your cash in your old water heater tank. Storing hot water in an older water tank results in significant energy loss that comes right out of your pocket. In fact, the loss could account for as much as 14% of your average household energy budget.
Don’t pay to store water you’re not using. Get a tankless water heater that provides all of the amenities of the older models without the inefficient and unconditional use of energy. Now, you can put your extra money in the bank!
Talk to the experts at Peterson Plumbing about your options for upgrading your water heater. Don’t end up with the wrong kind of liquid asset.
Peterson Plumbing is looking for the community’s help to raise money in the fight against cancer. The local plumbing, heating, cooling, and drain company is holding their first ever Spot the Pink Truck fundraiser to benefit the St. Mary’s Cancer Survivorship Program. “The fight against cancer is very near and dear to our hearts. The founder of our company, Kenny Chapman’s mother, is a breast cancer survivor and we want to do our part to help others in our community who are fighting cancer,” says Robin Stevens, part owner of Peterson Plumbing.
During the month of September Peterson Plumbing will donate $10 for every picture taken of their pink work truck that’s posted to their Facebook page. “We will give a daily clue on our Facebook page leading to the location of our pink truck. All people have to do is snap a selfie with the pink truck, post it to our Facebook page, and we will donate $10 to the Cancer Survivorship Program,” Stevens explains.
St. Mary’s Cancer Survivorship Program educates, supports, and empowers those affected by cancer ?to take charge of their cancer so they can truly thrive. Survivorship embraces the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and economic aspects of life that may be influenced by cancer at any time, from prevention and diagnosis through treatment and all remaining years of life, for the person with cancer and those who love them.
Each person who posts a photo of the pink truck will be entered into a contest to win a fun night out, including dinner for two and painting at The Palette.
The contest begins September 1st and will run through September 30th. Peterson Plumbing will donate up to $500 to the Survivorship Program through the Spot the Pink Truck fundraiser.
“Our goal is to create a fun-filled campaign to raise awareness for the fight against cancer, while giving back to local people who are battling the deadly disease,” adds Stevens.
